Description
A female undead player character model I've made for our MMO project "Allods Online".They are not generic fantasy undead, what we got is an ancient humanoid race who found a way to extend their lives via implants and replacing parts of their body with magically-infused machinery.
512x512 for body, 512x256 for metal parts, 256x256 for hair
Rendered in Marmoset

you have influenced latest four years of my life oh so much... ZEM people design are only a tiny aspect in all of Allods but fuck damn, for me they are the pillar, what they look like, the history, everything. hell, i even got an arisen tattoo, because THIS, right what i'm seeing here, this very design has been a start of a long ongoing creative inspiration for me.Β
Thank you dearly for such awesome design

I have never been so excited over a game character as when I first started playing this game almost a year ago, I fell in love with the character instantly!

amazing, Its a shame the changed the game to dissallow modding, because the legit modders (character/armour texture modders)(not hacks/bots/exploits) had alot of potential for cool use of your beautiful models.

Very unique. The texture of the skin on the side view is perfect, a cloudy lagoon-gray-aqua that just howls undead. The mechanical pieces are an unexpected delight, a devious creative touch by the artisan.

Ummm will there be a book published on the "art of allods" I'd love to buy a book featuring concept and 3d works on this game ? I would be forever grateful for any info regarding this
As for your low poly work, it's absolutely stunning, you're a great inspiration !

I'm just starting my 3D animation and modeling courses, and hoping to get into the MMORPG industry upon graduating.
The graphics you've done for Allods are really incredible, and i'm already hooked by the game.
What tips might you have for an aspiring 3d modeler / animator?

Heh, I just noticed that there is an open beta going on for Allods Online so I decided to try it out. As the game was downloading I was browsing through screenshots and on one of them I saw one of these cyborg-thingies and went like... didn't SlipGate do something like this before(I remembered seeing something like the one in the picture like 6 months ago). So basically I went over here to DA to check it out... and I was right!
Anyway, the point of the "story" is that your stuff is so awesome and it's not some bland crap that's just copies of other peoples stuff.
Keep it up! 'cause it's awesome!

They look even better in-game with all the mechanical parts whizzing around and glowing.
The art in this game is amazing, everybody who worked on it deserves a pat on the back for being so awsome

First you say "They are not generic fantasy undead" and then you say "what we got is an ancient humanoid race who found a way to extend their lives via implants and replacing parts of their body with magically-infused machinery."
Pick one or the other, because the concept for undead being artificially enhanced humans is fucking overdone.
Splicers anyone?

Well, generic fantasy undead are your typical shuffling zombies, at least in the context of fantasy (MMO)RPGs. But who gives a damn about originality, if the concept is done WELL?

Missing the point.
He implied they were original. They are not original.
That's what I said, and given you're already admitting it's not original you're only affirming my point.

He said they were not generic fantasy undead, and they're not. I haven't played other games that have artificially enhanced undead/humans of this nature, so it's original to me. (I play RPGs almost exclusively, so I miss out on a lot) Still, nothing is original. That's why good art/art direction in games is so important.
I just think you've got the wrong idea judging things on the basis of originality alone. What do you think of the modelling or texturing? Doesn't she look interesting?
