My first Art Trade!

Obscure Constellation is a OOAK necklace for who made this wonderful geisha as part of our trade!

So...I really hope she likes this necklace. I tend to make really bulky pieces and I wanted to go for something dainty, since I believe that is what she likes. I think maybe too dainty? Anyways, some of the things she likes included the color purple and stars so this is what I came up with.

The necklace focal is made from a Swarovski Rivoli crystal that I beaded around. I have not done that before...harder then it looks. The fringe is stick style with Swarovski crystals, Czech fire polished beads, and sterling silver stars as highlights. The rest of the necklace is strung on fire line with a handmade clasp by ~Bright-Circle .

Oh...first time trying to compile images using Gimp. I included two close ups, cause one shows how the center purple crystal glitters, but I like the fringe better on the other...oh and um, just ignore the dog hair.
