Stop Calling It Ree Sees — Description

I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST PEOPLE WHO CALL IT "REE-SEES" AND I DO NOT MEAN ANY DISRESPECT TOWARDS THEM, BUT I AM SICK OF HEARING THEM PRONOUNCE IT LIKE THAT.

So, you already know where this is going. I have had enough of the incorrect pronunciation of Reese's. It's not pronounced as "Ree-Sees," it's pronounced as Rees-IS. I don't know if you are aware of this, but the name of the peanut butter cups is actually the name of their creator, Harry Burnett Reese. There's OBVIOUSLY an apostrophe between the third E and the second S. Not to mention that the commercials don't pronounce it as "Ree-Sees," and don't get me started on those who pronounce Reese's Pieces as "Ree-Sees Pee-Sees!" That is how someone on Patrick Star's level would pronounce it. Does everybody not know how to read now? What's next, are we gonna start saying things like, "It all fell to pee-sees?" With all due respect, I have friends who have mispronounced Reese's millions of times, I even follow YouTubers who have mispronounced the candy's name. But now, it's time I say something about this.

Once again, I do not have anything against those who call it "Ree-Sees" and I do not mean any disrespect towards them, but I have had enough. I know some of you are going to scoff at this and say that I'm getting annoyed over a harmless mispronunciation, but this is pretty much my breaking point. Please be respectful to each other in the comments, regardless of who's side you're on. Have a good day.
