Background: Rouge was once a famous treasure hunter/thief, She butted heads often with Knuckles over the ownership of the Master Emerald, and after the giant gem was broken up into pieces she and Knuckles raced to collect all the pieces, however after finally admitting she was in the wrong she returned the pieces to apologize for her questionable tactics. After a while, she wanted to turn over a new leaf, which she does and now currently works at G.U.N as a spy for information and intel. She works alongside Shadow the Hedgehog and E-123 Omega.

Some head cannons for this AU
-Rouge loves jewels because she grew up poor and wants to separate herself from her old life as much as possible.
-Rouge and Shadow share more of a sibling relationship than a romantic one. Seeing that she's always been there to help him and vice versa. (Shadow doesn't mind their relationship, for it reminds him of his relationship with Maria)
-She finds Sonic rather cute, but her heart belongs to Knuckles who is far more fun to poke fun at.
-Her handwriting is almost always cursive. Her signature has a pair of bat wings above the R in her name.
-She wants a girl best friend to go get their nails done and hair done together, but she only has Shadow and Omega, who both would rather not
