Mass Effect 3: AI compared - The Starchild — Description
Since there is so much turmoil about it, even if I was introduced to the Mass Effect series only recently (and I've played only the 2nd and 3rd game), I thought some other opinion would be appreciated (although I know there are already dozens of similar and better painted images, still...).

SPOILERS, of course:
Alright, as first point, I was surprised some people belived the Catalyst was an actual god in the original version of the ending. I mean, the very moment he says "They're my solution [...] to Chaos." it was already pretty obvious it was an AI gone mad from impossible task.
When I heard that the first time I thought "Oh, snap, someone reinstalled G0-T0...", ence the guest appeareance.

For those who don't remember it from KoTOR II, G0-T0 was a powerful ithorian artificial intelligence programmed by the Republic to find a solution to its multiplanetar ginormous economic crisis after the Mandalorian and Jedi Civil Wars. Being torn by it's two principal directives: 1) save the Republic and 2) preserve the Republic Law, it broke and became a Criminal Lord still trying to prevent the Old Republic's Fall outside the law.
Now THAT was a realistic way to show an AI gone mad trying to fulfill its programming to reach an impossible task.
The Starchild's logic does just not make any sense at all.
