Beautiful piece, and wonderfully reflexive, I love the kind of posterized typography of "kunst"/ "art" and the figure, so much reminds me of Magritte, I think it's the suggestion of the overcoat, and the general concealment of identifying features, as well as the tenor of the suggestion of the piece, more generally -- the concept of "Ceci n'est pas une pipe", except that here, it seems more of an aesthetic interrogation of the formal aspects of art and its construction.

really beautiful image Siff. the thumbnail doesn't do this justice, in fullview all of the wonderful details become apparant. my favorite elements are those great lines scratched under the man's feet as the ground, and that incredible white splotch of paint behind him. and that great shape reaching that could be a tree or a hand or both.
there is no greater compliment, i think, than when someone becomes inspired by your work. and though i can see hints of ideas from my own art, you've taken these things and made them wholly your own. really gorgeous composition. i am terribly impressed.

I think the best thing is that echo of the tree, and the hint of something that those figures are walking on!
