Sneak Preview: Rigged Water Iray — Description
Accepted for testing at DAZ3D, hopefully for the PA sale.

This is the shower piece setup with the included pose (it's a wearables, so one click applies the pose and loads the props). The set has more in it than the first Rigged Water set, not just the jets and fountains but a small, round pool, a chest splash, and of course this shower piece with the separate shower head prop.

Rendered in DAZ Studio 4.8 Pro with Iray, no post.

Technical note:

I ended up doing a lot of manual modeling to replace my initial fluid sim in order to get it to where DAZ wanted it. The drop size shown here just can't be simmed in Blender (the issue is the size of the drops with reference to each other, not the figure). At some point I will invest in RealFlow, but I have some other income priorities before I start thinking about a purchase that size. Meantime, duplicate + randomize + smooth +decimate + Smart UV Project is the droplet modeler's best friend. With instancing in DS this is a very reasonable system load.
