Wasn't quite satisfied with the previous version . Still wanted to keep the "accident" angle, but felt the previous one was too complicated in regards to the face. Simply not a good design. Happier with this one.Figure I'll probably re-do Applejack too at some point. She doesn't feel quite "zombie" enough.

She looks like she is ayinh 'hey guy's watsup?' not really aware that she has turned undead yet XP
reminds of this little quipe that i made on a zombified fluttershy picture long ago. basically made a small tale about a necromancer trying to cause mayhem by reanimating a long dead fluttershy and set it after people.
However while he managed to get her moving again, her kind nature completely overwhelmed his control over her. He could only watch as the abomination he created ignored him and gently pat a filly on the head.

Exactly, loyal even in death, I can just imagine her being completely unfazed and still her old cute self, like "Hey, this isn't so bad! I'm SO much lighter now, I can go even faster than before!"

On one hand, good point, on the other, it takes a bit away from the "seriousness" of the picture. For the face I was specifically thinking that one branch of a tree just straight up rammed through her eye, but she didn't crash with her whole face.

I think I've seen some panels, but I haven't really bothered reading them. Paradoxically I'm not all that into zombie media. I think it might be more about playing around with anatomy and seeing how much story you can tell through design alone.

Wellp, I was meerly going to say that your style of how you make these zomponies coincidentally also looks like a few of the art styles from the comics, Almost makes me wish for a comic with a similar premise and universe XD
