Good to see you on. In the middle of working on my carrier again. Picked up Polish's Ghost fighter, very well done but I think his scale was off.

Awesome. Carriers are pretty tedious to model. Moreso, if you're going for absolute realism. So many pieces.... Then if you really want to drag yourself through the ringer, you have to do the jets. And the people. Or you can post work the people if you're really slick! Can't wait how it comes out.

And I forget... Polish is on deviant art right? Maybe I need to put him in my watch.Β

Not that I know of. Like Chris he is a 3d vendor. His detailing is excellent.I already had an F35 but I liked his better. Since I am doing a straight deck and angled versions of my carrier. Think old Essex class. I was going to use it for the straight decks as Chris hasn't done a V/STOL bird yet.

Oh yeah, I remember seeing his stuff! There's some hell-a-good modelers over there, him included. This will sound odd, but Daz is actually a great art site in itself. Besides the actual art gallery portion of the site, but the promo-artwork for all the figures and props is top notch. Makes sense really, doesn't matter how well modeled your 3d product is... if its staged poorly with crappy lighting it is not going to move units!Β

Exactly.Β  I am pretty active on the forums.Β  Although Poser has some features I like better than Daz , I can't stand Poser's user interface.Β  Why I have a few things I could post as freebies right now.Β  Texture sets and such but like Chris I would feel obligated to make them Poser capable as well.Β  Part of the reason I am careful of what I buy over at Rendo... they can get a little heavy on the postwork to hide the real issues.Β
