Backstory:
Piping Hot was once an average fox who lived a simple life. With such a boring and uneventful routine, you'd never think she would WANT to become a Skylander. One day, her schedule was changed by a great fire that consumed all in its path, including multiple villages and a grand forest. While others fled the flames, she glared at the orange heat source. In her mind, she decided she had to do something before it consumed the entire Skyland!
With no guarantee she would be safe, she threw herself into the heart of the blaze with hopes of finding the source, only to then be consumed herself. The fire that once burned all in its path began to swirl around her, as if she were a vacuum. Somehow, she had absorbed all of the fire!
Lying amongst the cinders and ashes, Piping Hot now embodied the Fire element. Her act of heroism was rewarded with much gratitude from the lives she saved, and the crowd got the attention of the Skylanders who arrived on the scene just a few moments too late.
As they helped clean up, one decided to ask Piping Hot why she did what she did, she replied, "Everyone else was running, someone had to do something, even if it was just me alone."
The Skylanders decided to offer that she joins their team, as heroes as brave as her were always welcome, and she said yes.

Extra info:
-Her pipe is attached to her by magic, if it gets too far it will teleport back to her.
-She comes across more serious than the others, and gets silently annoyed with the trio (Eclipse, Leaf Blades and Bear Fists) for goofing off as much as they do.
-She helps advise Bellcaster when she's feeling overwhelmed.
-She likes to be in quiet areas, when she can't have that but needs it quiet she crawls into her pipe.
