Spyro Solstice (Winter): Umbrius ref — Description

a character i've had for at least 15 years, umbrius! but this is his legend of spyro version, as i felt a very nostalgic attachment towards his tlos days. both the fan character and original version will both exist :3

Species: Dragon
Element: Shadow (black and red)

Umbrius was taken as an egg and taught to use his element to strike fear into the opponents. Any who stood in the way of his master, an evil dragon known as the Phantom Fright, needed to be struck down... one way or another. Despite being so young Umbrius can fight very well for his age, using the shadows around him and his own Shadow element to attack. Still, he is not strong enough to take down an adult dragon alone.
He has questioned whether his actions are good or not and fears that they aren't, but fears his master much more.
While he is freed in present day, the rib-like jewelry refuse to properly release him. This marks him as having worked for the Phantom Fright and causes others not to trust him even when his actions show good intentions. He travels with Zaros, the young poison dragon who feels like the only friend Umbrius has in the world.

Extra info:
-Always loved the night and the moons, even if the moons remind him of his master.
-He is half Electric, but does not have the Electric element.
-He is transgender.
-He can breathe Shadow as well as become a shadow.
-Zaros found a way to convince him of betraying his master, which was still very scary but at least Umbrius didn't have to do it alone!
-The rib-like cuffs will grow with him as he ages, so long as his master is alive there isn’t a way to remove them. However, it’s unclear if they can be removed once his master is dead.
-Doesn’t like extreme temperatures, both too hot or too cold.
-He wishes he had a normal childhood.
