WARNING: THIS IS REAL BIG lolzOk, I have been getting a lot of questions lately on how I do my lineart, so here is a really rough tutorial!
I have no idea if this makes ANY sense whatsoever, so please give me feedback. Let me know if something is too vague or doesn't make sense or anything and Ill fix it.
This is NOT the easiest way of creating lineart. Its probably really stupid for me to cling to this method when you can get the same-ish results with vectors, but I hate vectors...lolz. Anyway...here you go! I hope this helps!

I find it relieving I guess is what I meant to come across in that first message. @@ I must have been tired. But its nice to know that other people are as insane as me. XD My sister is always like "why do you do it all sketchy again and then erase it? why dont you do it nice the first time around?" >//< Cause I'm impatient.. but patient with erasing. lol.

Lol its waaaaay too hard to get nice lineart the first time around. Holy crap I can't even imagine...sketching is more right brained, inking takes more thinking, which I try to avoid when I'm drawing lol

oh dear, I get confused to easily ; ____ ; I just recent got my tablet and whatnot and I just can't seem to understand how to work the layers. Do you mind explaining on how to make the sketch layer disappear so I can continue ? I just can't seem tounderstand how because everytime I screw with the opacity the boxes are there and ... UGH

I've been using the pen tool, and I thought it was absolutely wonderful, but often, the lineart seems too clean, and static. So because my very primitive tablet finally is pressure sensitive, I tried this method. And it's not going to well. The lines look very blothchy, even when I zoom out. It takes a very long time to erase and redraw. 
*sigh* I know, I just wanted to complain a bit. I have to practice. And practice.

I have to agree about the pen tool - its what I predominately use now, but sometimes it does make a drawing too stiff and I have to start over or go in and hand-draw certain parts.
Honestly though, as you said yourself, it is all about practice. Yeah, its not always fun to hear that, but its the only way to ever get the hang of a new technique. You'll get the hang of it!

Chyeah! 'Cause as dumb as it might be, I never thought to rotate my canvas when I tried to do the lineart by hand haha

I feel a little bit like a lame-o but why does reducing it to 50% make if the original size? D: Also this has made me a LOT less nervous about making linearts for my work, knowing that I don't have to make it perfecty prefect or using a tablet is like YESSS.

Well, when I begin I usually double or triple the size of my canvas, so when I finish drawing I reduce it by the same amount to get it back to the size I want it to be...if that makes sense? Lol

Actually, I am currently working on a NEW lineart tutorial that doesn't require a tablet! Hopefully I can finish soon...it rather large.
As for a transparent background, what program do you use? Maybe I can help you out with that - its not difficult!

I use Adobe Photoshop. It only allows me to make anything transparent when I start a new one and not anytime after that.

I use photoshop too and just work in layers to get transparencies and such I need

Here I actually used a stylus. I have a tablet so draw straight onto that. So I didn't use a mouse OR the pen tool. I do use the pen tool now however. I need to make a new tutorial...lol
