Amazing! I've played khapûl like two times and I really loved it, but it was kinda sad that I was all alone the whole time x) but keep up the good work you really have a talent for this!

Keep it up! We where the only ones doing it when we started (everyone dedicated to that line of races wanted to be plain orcs or uruk-hai) but after a year or so there where like 60 of us!:S

I tried human for like two larps but I didn't like it, it feels to bounded by rules and stuff or something x) So I'll continue playing my khapûl role and build it up!

I really do love this one. When i was a Kid i was always afraid of the "BlackMan" ( you call this Boogeyman ) . And to this BlackMan there was a Picture in my Brain. At this Photo you look exactly like this "Brainpicture"

This is so cool. I have ONE suggestion. It's something I think about every time I see a human face made over extremely well with a different, 'non-human' color or mask. It's all about the eyes. Everything about you, the subject, is non-human except for the eyes themselves. The eyes are distinctly human, and detract from the illusion - or ability to suspend disbelief and see only a 'humanoid' creature, albeit another species.
A pair of 'death-gray' or bloody eye contacts, or some kind of small, black goggle-like appendages (no straps, just lenses) to give a more insectoid look would be cool. Or, a strip of black see-through gauze worn over the eyes, as part of the head-wear, would shade the eyes and lend added mystery. Then it wouldn't be a human dressed up in a very cool costume as another creature - it would be another creature.

I usually use lenses to this costume, but tending to them for a week in the woods renders them pretty battered, so they where thrown away by then

yup, use steel ones for conventions and such
I do chainmaille, steelarmors (not selling those though), platearmor, and some "metal" is in fibreglass and other plastics.

i prefer the armour to be more authentic so i stay away from the fibreglass and other plastics. chainmail is fun but time consuming, specially when i need to be using my hands for soemthing else like typing lol.
do you use spring steel for your weapons/armour?

Yup, thank god more poeple thinks so! The fibreglass metal is only featured in the AO1armors and upcoming sparc-armors as they are to remain light enough to airsoft and larp in them

yeh i noticed them. quite interesting concept. i guess in the case of larping you need something light, but then again if you want to be authentic then you should get used to the weight and larp in the orginal gear. haha. ever tried full roman outfit plus shield, weapon and gear? bloody heavy ill tell you that haha

Spectators aren't allowed at larps in sweden, as they tend to ruin the overall authenticity of the game

yeh i bet they would. i guess thats the major difference between re-enacting and larping. but then again if you are spectating larping its prob cause you are interested in joining in some time soon 
so how does it work with you guys? where do you get the scenes you wish to play out? or do you just dress up and become the character for the day and do whatever comes to the characters mind?

Most organizationscreate worlds and backgrounds for the larps to set place in. Mostlarps over here are 2-4 days but varies alot. No scenes are predestined, all are carried out as a result of previous happenings and acted out moments. Alot of people would like to spectate, but they arent allowed
