Description
I would like to believe that this is primarily about establishing a mood using texture, color, and line.But I will admit to a bit of a political slant to this.
The original size is something like 45"x15" (114 cm x 38 cm).

What does the number mean? And the curved lines in the upper left reminds of Arabic script.

Ah thanks. The script should be reminiscent of Arabic. Plays into the idea of "Us vs. Them" mentality that can take many forms.
In recent times, it's a manifestation of West v. East but it's less about a specific event than the human tendency to need rivalry and warfare.
I'd suspect that if humanity ever got along entirely, we'd become extinct in a decade.
The number is a reference to a particular form of Uranium.

I am them, I see the conflict, have seen the conflict first hand.
dialogue seems to be the last thing on everyoneβs mind, doesn't look like we've grown as a species.
barbarians and butchers with more devastating weapons.
we don't even need to look at the enemy in the eye anymore, that last bit of exchange, albeit brutal, doesn't even exist anymore.
another layer of humanity is removed.
itβs all electrical and mechanical
the gulf expands as the world grows smaller.
no space to speak, no room for enriching cultures, learning from the past and combining differences and ideals.
allowing friction and differences, using them in a beneficial manner and to benefit us and them, you and me.
here I was not trying to say more, and Iβve spewed this garbage for you.
I have been working on a few large pieces the past few months, theyβre still growing, from sketches to posters to walls, donβt know where theyβll end and how theyβre going to end up.
this I love, youβve really pulled a narrative and stretched it into a horror documentary.
most of the obvious has already been stated, so Iβll leave it at that.

Oh spectacular! The layers are absolutely intreaguing ... stain lines filtering through a fog and becoming more solid as they aquire an outline. Also, I love the colors.

I've heard the map comparison but the hell part, that's new. And probably a lot closer to the intention than most people would imagine.

Ah, you've cracked the code!
And this is all just digital work, rework, work again, etc.
Successive hand renderings, brushwork, drawing, and stuff.
I can't remember the gory details, I just know that it need to be motivated by intense emotion to come out "right" for me.

I'm trying not to look to much into this so I don't lose all the things captured by the colors and corresponding textures, but I have anyway. It looks like a huge mythical tree being held up by boards, concluding in my own analyzation that nature needs to be "held up" by present society due to the damage we have sundered it with. But aside that you really have accomplished the mood using the components you listed. Wonderful job.

I think this one took about 12 hours to make because I fell into that magic spot where everything came together just right.
But sometimes I will work on images for weeks.
