Yes yes yes I know, another nother DN pic, I swear I'm working on a Halloween HB so don't stone me.I've been wanting to do something with a light within the picture...like, light that hits different things/people at a different angle. So um..I did.
I've had this idea for a while, and I had more spare time this weekend than usual since midterms just ended and we haven't really picked up pace again yet. I think Near can be a bit of a control freak...in a quiet, passive aggressive sort of way...so I thought the image of a puppeteer worked really well for him. And Mello just hates that, of course.

I really like the idea behind the picture! I'd agree that Near has the tendency to try controlling everything. The giant scissor suits Mello's temper perfectly too.

This is really good! I like the small highlights on the Mello puppet, and how Near looks just a tad confused/worried, but still apathetic for the most part. And Mello looks really mad, like he should be. The lighting on the scissors really brings a lot of attention to it, which I think works great. Overall, I really like this. :3

the tiny details on this ^^ wow. the belt buckle, the gold zipper, which i adore btw, the puppet near has, its all, wow.
