Holy shit, this is fucking incredible! O.O The only thing that kind of throws me off is the skull and bones on Rebellion. It's perfectly rendered and the shading is also amazing, but the lack of texture on it makes it look somewhat unfinished, compared to the rest of the picture that is. That is only my opinion however and I hope you don't take offense I don't mean to criticize, only to help

No offence taken at all buddy. After this piece i realised i sucked at metal but completely forgot (or avoided) to do some studies. The same thing happened recently after i did a study of vaas from farcry. Need to get on that asap!!

Holy **** This is by far the best piece I have eevr seen drawn of Dante. The fire, the demon the everything. Dante is drawn so well, he's perfection itself!! You've managed to squeeze in all the details of his clothing, and all the details of Rebellion.. The textures are amazing as well. God I love you right now!! XD You should really draw Vergil once too, and Nero as well

I'm really tempted to do all 3 of them and put them together like me dark knight poster. And i think im one of the few fans who likes the reboot too so i'd love to paint the new sparda twins!!

Yeah.. personally I'm not a fan of the reboot, because they changed absolutely everything. Nothing is original and the identity of Devil May Cry jsut isn't there for me any longer. It just doesn't feel like Devil May Cry if you get what I mean
Doing all three of the original characters in a poster together would be epic, I sure hope you do it!

Yeah i get why people don't like it. I was amazed that it was capcoms decision to change it so drastically, NT kept trying to keep it like the original ones but they kept making them change it into what it is now!
I love it though, i thought the old series peaked at 3/4, 5 would be cool if they brought vergil back into the story but who knows!

I was kind of expecting the 5th game to maybe explain Dante's connection with Nero, and maybe have them meet up again. Or maybe Dante going to the demon realm in order to find his brother or something like that.. I mean, to me Dante looks like a thug and a drug addict in the 5th game. On top of that they made Devil May Cry 3 where Dante was around 18 years..

the speculation around nero was that it's vergils son, or at least vergils life force or whatever went into nero's arm. I hated dante in 3, i enjoyed being beaten endlessly by vergil XD
I only liked him him 1, 4 was ok because we hardly ever saw him.

I haven't played the first 3 games, but I know hwo he looked in them and the general game plots and story of them.. I'd love to have the complete set one day though. I love Dante because of his attitude and personality. And I love him extra much in the 4th because he's so handsome XD

Cheers man, the client wanted said he wanted to show dante after a fight, a bit battered and bruised, and stood on a monster. I asked which one and he said berial, which made me make this face 0______0 Came out ok though, that fire like you said brings it all together and gave me the chance to light the whole scene much more dramatically.
Plus dmc is one of my favorite games ever so was so hyped i got to do a professional piece for it!.

After this i really wanted to do vergil, as cool as this was to do as it was for a client i had to do as i was told, but with vergil i could of done what i liked. But i've just not had enough time, i need to get out of doing so much fan art!
