Linked History: Kiri — Description

Alright Kiri/Ocarina of Time Link is here, redesigned the Red and Blue Tunic cause I didn't want them to be carbon copy of the Green Tunic.

THE FALLEN TIMELINE (Link, unprepared, fails to defeat Ganon)
Link only knew of life in the Kokiri Village, protected by their Guardian the Deku Tree. Following the death of the Deku Tree, Link follows its last directions and heads towards the castle, carrying the sacred stone of the forest with him, to meet the Princess. Once there, and after sneaking past the guards, Link meets the princess and her brother and is greeted as a guest from the forest. He provides Zelda with the Sacred Stone given to him by the Deku Tree and she reveals she has the two others from the other races, given to her by Daruk of the Goron and Ruto of the Zora.

Zelda explains her dream and what she believes is Link's role in it, directing him to go with Impa and her to the Temple of Time to retrieve the Master Sword. Though she didn't realize that Ganon, the evil force from her dream was aware of her intentions and followed the three of them to the Temple.

Even with the Master Sword, Link was unprepared for the large Gerudo male to be there and Ganon caught the three by surprise leading to Link's quick downfall. Impa was left defending the Princess as she used her families treasure, the Ocarina of Time, to allow Link a better chance against Ganon. As Link returns to a past where she had not yet met her this timeline is left under the the control of Ganon and falls to ruin and the Prince with Impa's help take Zelda to hide her away later hiding her away under a sleeping spell that will hide her presence from Ganon while she is left in the protection of Impa as he waits for a new hero to arise.

FORGOTTEN TIMELINE (Timeline left behind after Ganon's defeat)
Link wakes up from a nightmare of being killed by a stranger within the walls of a white tiled room, the walls towering over him and the laugh of his adversary echoing in his ears as he wakes in his bed to a fairy hovering over his head, claiming to be his fairy companion.

Similar to the previously abandoned timeline, though Link does not remember it only getting a strong since of Deja-vu, the Deku True is killed from the curse inflicted upon it by Ganon. He is directed to leave the forest and find the Princess and give her the Spiritual Stone.

Similar to the Deku Tree dying, Link gets hit with Deja-vu as he navigates Hyrule Field, Castle Town, and sneaks past the Palace Guards. Upon meeting Zelda and her brother he notices a strange look that crosses the Princess' face for only a second before it's gone and she introduces herself as she explains her dream and requests his help in defeating the evil that will plague their land.

Link agrees and is directed to collect the Spiritual stone of Fire from the Gorons, and the Spiritual Stone of Water from the Zora. With Navi at his side he helps the two races with their problems and returns to the palace in time to watch Zelda and her brother escape with Impa as they are being chased from the castle by Ganon, someone who seeing fills Link was dread. After Ganon leaves Link retrieves the Ocarina that Zelda had tossed into the moat for him to grab and makes his way to the Temple of Time.

After stepping into the Temple of Time Link's breath leaves his body and he stares in shock at the place where he died in his dream. With Navi's help he shakes off the shock and finds his way back into the hidden room where the Master Sword rests, pulling it out and finding 7 years have passed as he was locked in the Sacred Realm.

On his way out of the Temple he is stopped by two individuals, both of the Sheikah Tribe, who appear throughout the rest of his journey as he works to awaken the sages, gaining more power and tools to use. After awakening the last Sage one of the two request that he meet them in the Temple of Time and reveal that they are the Prince and Princess, both having blood of the Shiekah from their mother. Zelda is taken by Ganon and Link works with the Prince to save his sister and defeat Ganon.

Following the defeat of Ganon Zelda thanks Link though decides to send return him once again to the past, claiming she wants to "allow him to live his childhood".

CHILD TIMELINE (Timeline that Link lives out)
Unlike the first time Link was sent back by Zelda, he remembers everything this time, though Navi does not return to his side. All alone and unable to stay in the forest knowing so much of the world outside Link leaves, and lives on his own for a bit before being offered a place and work at the Ranch were he spent some time in the timeline left behind and had gotten his horse Epona.

(Not mentioned just because I'm trying to keep information from getting to be too much or too out of hand as I plan on writing these story rewrites later is that during the "Forgotten Timeline" Link had gotten close to the Prince, whose name is currently written down as Ahgin Daltus Hyrule, and in the "Child Timeline" Link has gotten close to Malon during his time on the ranch and is again building his relationship up with the Prince with the final intended relationship being "Shiek"/Link/Malon)
