The Samurai Jack episode "The Tale of X9" is easily one of the saddest episodes I have ever seen of a series, much less the show itself. It concerns a former killbot given a special emotions chip who becomes fond of an adorable pup named Lulu...sweet thing. Unfortunately, Aku was alerted to X9's connection and, using Lulu as a bargaining chip, X9 was forced back into service to kill Samurai Jack. Yeah. Even worse, it's implied Jack never was able to save that adorable little pug and she...well...probably was killed. All without knowing X9 was gone.
