The Samurai Jack episode "The Tale of X9" is easily one of the saddest episodes I have ever seen of a series, much less the show itself. It concerns a former killbot given a special emotions chip who becomes fond of an adorable pup named Lulu...sweet thing. Unfortunately, Aku was alerted to X9's connection and, using Lulu as a bargaining chip, X9 was forced back into service to kill Samurai Jack.
