OMG like 50 layers later and this is the end result. Its a lil' Paint Foal!Im not completely satisfied with this So I may edited it in the near future

i saw that in one of your earlier WIPs on this you said you got the technique off of DA... where did you find it? cuz im helpless when it comes to PSE! what version of elements do you have? this is awesome!

I ussed this for the shading 
I have a very old verison of PSE XD I got it for free so it works for now

Well What I did was just draw the outline of the leg, then with color I created the hooves then erased around them to give them a hoof shape. I would recommend just drawing the outline of the leg without showing the separation from hoof and leg(that crazy black line!) I soften the lines with the Blur tool in Photoshop but I also took some time to erase the hard lines as well. If you need any further tips just let me know!
