I would have the ultimate story idea for this.

I know what my reaction to this picture is: Giovanni fired James and Butch because neither them nor their partners could capture a single Legendary PokΓ©mon; but for Jessie and Cassidy, they have to settle their differences and become partners themselves.
I think that Jessie and Cassidy should quit Team Rocket and just live in a nice house in Pallet Town, away from the city where the Viridian City Gym once stood.

Cassidy is from Team Rocket 2; her companion is Butch (who has a serious name issue). Β Next to her is Jessie from Team Rocket; her companion is James. Β Both Team Rocket and Team Rocket 2 are rivals. Β There was an episode of PokΓ©mon Chronicles titled Training Daze. Β It told the story of how both Rocket teams were formed; in one scene, Butch was called Chuck.

Team rocket is a massive organization that is lead by the 8th Kanto gym leader Giovanni (former gym leader in the games). It was founded in Kanto andΒ contains hundreds of members. They also did work in the Johto region.

Ah the lighting looks awesome Saburo! 
The shading for the bedsheets is an awesome addition as well - I'll admit I was surprised when you said it'd be a complex background and wondered how sheets could be seen as such; now I see why. It adds to the effects of the lighting of course, but also draws the eye towards Jessie and Cassidy at the centre of the piece [not that they'd need any help catching the viewer's eye, mind you], and helps emphasize the pair of them - as well as better indicate their gravid weight. 
I like the artistic liberty you had with their pajamas, especially the white bordering for the edges [hem?] of the tank-tops and pajama shorts, it echos the contrast of the on-duty Rocket uniforms and works well as a subtle nod to them. It certainly brings to mind the image of a Team Rocket owned gift shop or mini-mall for its minions.
Jessie and Cassidy look awesome in terms of their own colouring as well, I dig the indication of their ankles by use of shading and not a regularly drawn line. The highlighting of their hair styles seems pretty spot on from what little I remember of the anime.
Though, in hindsight, I think that the title should be changed to "Rockets Resting Off Shift", it seems to flow off the tongue a bit better.
