Description
Many people ask me a lot of basic kimono questions, like which way you fold it over, and where does the sash go - that sort of stuff...So, I made up a little tutorial with the basic principles of women's kimono.
Hope it's useful

This was just what I was looking for! I've been wanting to draw a bleach oc for a while now, but never really understood how to draw a kimono, or a Yukata. This will help immensely. (If you don't mind that I use it as a reference that is.)

There is one thing you forgot about the Furisode. Its only worn by young girls and unmarried women.

wow thanks! I was wondering how I had to wear that thing... I got myself one, but I always thought the neck was so high... but I guess that's normal, and I just have a small neck... I'm actuallt too small for the thing I think... xD

Thanks for posting this! Before I saw this, all the kimonos I drew looked like dressing-gowns. :/
