"Life can be very difficult for the breathtakingly gorgeous."The drawing that let me break my extended art slump. I was feeling down one day and managed to sketch Adonis to make me feel better. It worked.
Offhand, I really liked the Studio B take on Adonis. Usually when his myth comes into play, he's a shallow, vain character, while in CotT, he was actually a really sweet, well grounded guy... who was also walking eye candy, and a target for female human, nymph and goddess alike.

Adonis is my favorite character
At the end of the episode when he said he wanted to be in a place where character is more important than looks he won my respect.

he's so adorible, he's one of those guys that i would think was cute but i would ignore him because of his popularity with the girls. i think his soul mate would be the girl that ignores him but falls in love with his personality and he'd love her for that. but great work, he's actually my second fave character to herry. But seriously it would be cool if it had show him meeting someone that he likes because she like him but not for his looks.

Thanks! I don't have a lot of CotT art in the works, but I'd like to keep doing the occasional piece. If nothing else, I'm still a massive mythology fan, and CotT was one of those series that got it right where I'm concerned.

It would be interesting, that's for sure. The only catch is Adonis was in a box for centuries: they'd have to find someone whose ancestor was fathered before he was put in there, and with a woman Aphrodite & Persephone permitted to live afterwords. It might work though, as a friendly foil for Neil!
