Commission for original character, Raine Heartfall.Another awesomely fun character to draw! The client chose the pose, which was a very cool one to try. I hope I did the perspective justice.
Though, you know, I am starting to notice that I am spending more and more time on my lineart based images. Painting seems so much faster, in some regards, even though it is a bit more difficult. I just can't do a quick lineart, it seems! Oh well, at least it's fun to try.

I agree with DarkerEve. Getting better. Pose is good. Highlights are good. Needs a few more shadows for more definition, but was only 3 hours and a commission so you get what you paid for. But still loving it. Good job.

Thank you! Considering that I am only supposed to allow myself to work on these for an hour, I ended up putting a lot more time into it for detail sake. I limit these types of commissions to 600 x 900 pixels to further prevent myself from going crazy on it. I always feel there is room for more detail, but there is a point where I have to stop myself and just complete the image.
Overall, the goal of these sort of images is to create a basic character design for cheap. I spend a lot more time on my larger scale cartoons and paintings.
