Description
Emmeria, being a combination of the UK Canada and France according to Acepedia, is one of the primary operators of the Rafale family. This one, serving aboard the Silvat (R93) during the 2024 Linese War (aka my AC fanfic the Eagle and the Dragon) is of 7F. the Rafale is used by the Emmerian Navy in both air-to-air and air-to-ground roles, though the later usually falls under the belt of navalized two-seaters. she is considered to be a supreme fighter despite being somewhat overshadowed by others such as the Typhoon, Raptor, and FlankerI have to admit I really like the Rafale. among the more futuristic jets of the Ace Combat series she is my favorite because she really is a multirole bird. I've used her a lot in the games and long before I joined DA toyed with the idea of VF-115 using Rafales (the reason being they were being evaluated as a competitor against the Super Hornet, which at the time I didn't really like)

I remember the Rafale and F-14 being the main naval aircraft of the Estokvakians, while the Emmerians mainly fielded the F/A-18E/F, on the carrier in AC6 it was filled with nothing but Super Hornets

well besides the fact that by 2024 the F-14 would be very old, I think of Emmeria in the same way Acepedia does, as a combination of a few Western European countries and as such have them use more European-esque jets along with Super Hornets

IIRC, your fic is circa 2024..., and Emmeria's aircraft were all lo-viz by the time of the Anean War... which I think happens in 2016... correct me if I'm wrong.

big mix I've noticed. some jets like Windohver's Viper (going off the pic in your gallery) and Avalanche's Rhino had rather bright markings while some like Garudas' Strike Eagles were relatively tame in color. so I guess we could call it a matter of personal preference

Now that I think about it, you do have a point. Or, Windhover gets his hi-viz Viper by virtue of being a squadron commander, and Garuda basically coopts what they need on a mission-by-mission basis, thus explaining the Super Bugs and the Berkuts.

Maybe. In a USN carrierborne squadron, outside of the E-2s, only two planes per squadron may have hi-viz markings, the CAG Bird and the CO's aircraft.
