Part 5 in our ongoing series! Cooper and I obviously knew what Kyle meant by "naked" on the previous page. We aren't that thick...okay maybe my extra chonk Clyde pal is

And now we've come to one of the greatest divides in all centaur-human cultural relations...pants. We hoofers like to poke fun at the issue, since our complete lack of any human standard for "modesty" makes many two-leggers blush, and we find that mildly hilarious. It really is just a cultural difference that our two species will never really agree on, and that's okay, to each their own. As hard as it is for humans to grasp how we could possibly be comfortable being exposed back there all the time, we centaurs couldn't imagine covering everything up. Things need to breathe, ya know?

Of course there are situations where some additional covering is welcome, like on a frigid winter day, but for the most part we don't wear anything on our horsos. It just feels so, unnatural. Torsos on the other hand, absolutely. Our "human" skin is far less resilient than our hides, and in everyday life it's more comfortable to keep it covered. Unless I'm swimming I always have at least a T-shirt on, otherwise I really am just a naked hossdude running around town. "Majestic" centaur stereotypes aside, I'm a civilized hoss, so my torso stays clothed the majority of the time.

This page also features a few of my favorite scenes yet! First we have centaur-Kyle in all his hooved glory. We've been asked if someone like Kyle could ever become a hoofer, or visa versa, via magic or some other means. And the short answer is: No. In our world you're either born a centaur or a human; that's just the way it is. Kyle is perfectly fine being a human just as we are being centaurs, but that doesn't stop him from imagining his life with hooves, even if it is as a poor uncomfortable pants-wearing hoofer

Next we have an awesome winter scene featuring two of our best hossbuds Holton and Iarann helping my colt Caspian build a snow-taur. They say it takes a village, and that's absolutely true. We're lucky that Caspian has some great influences in the community, both hoofer and human, but none better than his "Uncles" Cooper, Holton, and Iarann. Also as an extra bonus, the great Fia Orädd (aka Hubedihubbe) has graciously allowed us to include Aerick and Sawyer in our world! I don't know a single hoofer who isn't a fan of Hubedihubbe's "Centuary" characters, and I'm very excited to have them here with us ^^

Coming up next, we've invited Kyle to join us for a "quick trot" to the local brewery. I wonder how our new two-legged friend is going to get there ;)
