Evan came from a rather large family. He was the oldest of four siblings by blood, and one of adoption. Due to his family having so many children, his father took on the job force to get them the money they needed to survive. Evan's mother stayed home to care for the kids, and because of how many there were, Evan opted to do the same. He was in charge of cooking all the meals, and playing with and helping out the second and third child, while his mother took care of the fourth and fifth. Evan cared for his family very much, and became very protective over them. He grew a hotheadedness to him as a result of having to watch them all the time. It wasn't enough to get him into any trouble, but it certainly got him a couple wallops.

He was sent out to head to the market one day, his goal being to buy the food stuffs that he required for the dinner that night. He'd noticed on his way to the market, a pair of men watching him. They seemed to follow him which ebbed that hotheadedness of his. He didn't react though, his goal set and destination growing closer. To his relief, he made it to the market unscathed and un-approached. He got what he needed and went to leave. Before actually stepping out of the market, he made sure that those men weren't still out there. When he didn't see them, he took to the streets to head home.

Unfortunately that wasn't going to be the case.
The two men had kept to an alley they knew Evan would pass based on the way he came and when he drew near, jumped him. One of the men had grabbed him, wrapping his arms around him while placing a hand tight around his muzzle, silencing him as he dragged the boy into the alley. There the second man took a rag and poured some kind of liquid Evan hadn't seen before, lifting it up and forcing it over the boys nose. Before Evan knew it, he was falling into an unconscious state, blacking out within just a few seconds of breathing in what was on the rag.

When Evan's eyes finally opened, he found himself on a boat with many others of varying ages and species. Men and woman alike. He'd been captured by slave traders and had been shipped out to an unknown location.

Once in the new land, Evan was approached by a Dusknoir who had come down to view the incoming ship, wishing to sample the picks before anyone else. It didn't take long before the man chose Evan despite how the Flareon raged towards him, threatening him and trying to bite him to get him to leave. After the purchase had been made, Evan was taken through a ghost portal, phasing him a little before winding up in the building that he currently resides in now.

He's become a slave to the Dusknoir and his other workers, abused constantly and forced into situations that have pretty much traumatized the boy. His goals and ambitions are to escape this hell and be free once more. How to go about it though... is another problem. With a Stoutland named Richard, and a ghostly Tyranitar named Tolbert as his "caretakers", Evan's chances of attaining what he truly wants is a near impossible task.
