Well, technically it's the breakdancing, samurai, warring-states period Japan, Norse Mythology inspired world tree fruit themed Kamen Rider. And written by Gen "I'm not capable of writing a happy ending to a story" Urobuchi, otherwise known as the "Urobutcher."
Let it be known that Japan isn't afraid to mix a few genres together.

Well, he DID... back in 2014 when the series first came out.
It also ended up being perhaps the darkest Kamen Rider series of the modern era.

These Kamen Rider series air every single year in Japan. A new one debuts in the fall, runs about a year, and then bows out for the new series.
