Description
My next set of original character designs don't have much thought behind them for the most part. They were largely just designs I had in my head that I wanted to get out and down on paper. I find it's a good way to help refine stuff and find what works and what doesn't, or as just a creative exercise.

For a while now I had this design bouncing around. I kind of wanted to design a "Big Bad" villain. Someone like a Doctor Doom or an Apocalypse or someone like that. Someone who could easily be placed at the top of the food chain for the bad guys, so to speak, without any question as to why they are there. I didn't really have any backstory for the character, I just saw him as an incredibly dangerous and powerful villain who could challenge any hero who goes up against him.

He's got a little big of Holocaust from the X-Men in his design, but I tried to make his look a little more streamlined and classic. I originally envisioned having a skull for his helmet, but decided to go for just a skull like visage for his face.
