Brilliant, like all of your work. Do you think about composition for a while before you jump into a piece like this, or do you just wing it?

I think about it to an extent. Usually I'll draw up thumbnails until I decide where I want everyone then just work from there. Some of my comps like the "Snakes" one take a little more delicate planning. This one wasn't as bad since it was basically just a big series of portraits

After watching it a couple more times I figured it wasn't terrible. There were plenty of things I liked about it enough. I just thought Lucas' influence wasn't needed.
