Bonus panel day!Life is so terrible for her. Nobody cares. You think you are some superhero and you get pushed around, sent to the middle of nowhere, talked down to, disrespected, and objectified. Because face it, you have no other option. We saw what the government did to those outside the system in the last panel of The Shadow Queen.
Somehow, this is how I feel it would really be if there were superheroes in this world. No rights, no respect, and you are a defense industry commodity owned by the government. A piece of meat with powers and a number.
It is a far way away from the propaganda-poster like comics we have these days churned out by weaponized corporate psychology. They don't tell stories these days, they sell lifestyles.
