Mastermind 0003 — Description
This one I pulled back slightly. We were a lot closer, but in a way, the panel made no sense talking about the greater world and having this really tight closeup and Penthouse style shot of her butt. It was a great shot, it just bugged me as my internal taste meter was going off whenever I reviewed the page and I got constantly distracted by that great behind of hers. The whole panel didn't work because of the distraction - especially the narrative. Maybe I will post it up later for comparison.

Here? Pulled back and there is more "world" to see, especially when the focus of the narrative is the world she wants to talk about. The narrative before was almost like, "Yes, Duchess you are worried about the world but I am really only worried about that butt of yours because that is all that matters. In fact, it is an emergency so let's go take care of that right now." It is like if you were doing a Conan style naked fantasy comic and the heroine's butt got right up in the camera during a big fight scene in the snake temple and then nothing else in the scene matters.

This panel, pulled back, more balanced, has that golden spiral going on, and her concerns actually look out upon a vast and infinite world.
