Thanks so much for the critique. And those are some good ideas. I usually never go back and change my work though. It's hard for me to change things that I already fell in love with. haha.

I used the shade as a contrast in this, to snap people out of the fairytale, and let them know it's just a doll in a box that she calls her room.
I've got a heavy underlying sarcastic/sad tale to a lot of work I do.. I think sometimes it get's lost in the aesthetics of the image.
The line is a ledge in my room, I left it because I liked the shapes it made.. giving the image a sort of stained glass feel.
I really enjoyed the way my neck came out because it really highlights my face and chin.. making it almost look like I'm wearing a placid mask.. even though the mask is all you see, theirs something in the eyes, that gives it all away.
