I love this, your art is amazing!
My thoughts on ATTLG (spoiler alert, I guess?): The movie as a whole was pretty disappointing to me since producers felt the need to undo the tragedy of horunvendushday and forgive the red queen for everything she did, plus the ending was really frustrating (the Talice shipper in me was screaming internally!). There was a severe lack of badass kilt-wearing and claymore-wielding Tarrant, if they had combined him with badass captain Alice it could've been an enjoyable movie.
The few things I liked: Unlike in the first movie; actual sets were used in some of the scenes, not just the commonly occuring green screen effects and I really appreciated that. The moments between Alice and Tarrant were really sweet (hugs galore!), and I thought Time was a pretty good addition to the movie universe.

The fact that Irecabeth just wanted a lil - I'm sorry Racie - from Mirana was just WTF - seriously??? - to me too -.-
And even if I really loved to them all us kids (esp Tarrant and Chess) I found it strange and a bit disturbing... in a way.. that Mirana just lied about that while she was meant to be the great and flawless white queen... you know what I mean? How loves her sister sooooooo much in fact. And that their mother seemed to love Mirana a bit more would helped her to avoid her punishment perhaps...
BUT I agree too, all these sweet Talice moments where she FINALLY showed more affection (and hugs) to him were soooo heartbreaking... because in the first one, I'm sorry, but Alice was so cold in the end to him imho!
And I still don't get the reason why she had to leave again... sry... to become a short-haired-Lara- feminist-Croft-copy? -.- With Hamish's lawyer???

I agree ur rambling ☺and I did feel the movie and Tarrant were not as good as they should stand out. (To me i think the set up of some of the layout of the past like the town and castle seem small to me) The hatter is my fav character but to me I hate admitting it but he acted like a kid who holding his breath until he get what he wants (only during the first part with him and Alice) idk I felt that and I really wish he was more of the badass claymore futterwakken king hatter he is! And I felt that even though having his family is good it just took away the emotions from the first film, like knowing his whole family is alive takes away the tragic of the hatter (and it does confuse and the fact that was "his clan")and that the red queen got bad because mirana lied about a tart was stale. I wish they could of just let the father lived only that would of still kept the tragic yet a good amount of relief for his character. And maybe change fhe tart thing to something more tragic?Anyways I too do like the moments with halice as well 😃.......and I'm gonna stop my rambling eheh sorry about that

Yapp the same here... I didn't saw the movie yet BUT I agree though! It's silly to turn Alice (again) into a strange feminist Lara Croft juts to prove a strong woman in the Victorian age... rubbish!
She always and to love someone doesn't make someone weak at all... and she belongs to Tarrant, that's a fact!

Well that is totally your opinion and not mine and that's okay ofc.
And we already discussed about that when the first movie came out, I remember pretty well ...more than that. Also all the other things which happened back in days...
And tbh I don't want to continue it because we simply won't agree no matter how often you will comment my drawings.
Because for me he loves her deeply and that you can see in his eyes.. and she? Well... the way they portrayed her character was right from the beginning full of flaws and logical mistakes for me. She doesn't deserves him by the way she treated him in the first movie... but is the only one for him nonetheless. And since I will still see the second one I can't tell for now how it will be in this one then, but since I saw those photos with her short hair I can already say that I'm not going to like it (again). Because my point of view is a total different one then yours about her character.
Which is also a bit strange, because why comment and caring about us Talice shipper if you in fact don't like that ship/couple at all? I don't get it, but well... D: I'm also not going to try to convince you that your ship is not true to me either, so,..
And because of that and what happened previously (those years ago) I refused to response on your first comment too and also won't replay any further on this here because of the reason I named before. Nun ich hab den Film noch nicht gesehen,.. aber ja das dachte ich mir auch schon beim ersten Teil... das Problem ist nur das es ja auch noch Margret gibt D: Die wie wir ja wissen diesen Arschkerl von Gatten names Lowell hat...eeeeigentlich!
Ich fände es besser muss ich sagen wenn Alice mal richtig nachdenken würde und nicht einfach so und immer wieder auf eine halb Xana macht.. .weißte was ich mein? Sie krakält immer rum wie unabhängig sie sein will blablabla.. (nicht zu erwähnen das sie genau genommen auch die bösen ausbeuterungen mit china förderte *husthust*) nö....sie rallt nicht das sie auch stark sein kann A) an der Seite des Mannes der sie für ihrer selbst lient und B) sie dann doch endlich ma ihr eigenes Leben leben sollte ohne die ganze zeit zu denken - naaaw hm ja ne ich muss ja auf Mami achten... >~> So sehr ich das Pair und Mia auch liebe.. Aliceis so ein undurchdachter dämlicher Chara das es oft echt nur weh tut sry^^°°°°°°°°° DENNOCH ist sie die Einzige für Tarrant auch wenn sie ihn überhaupt nicht verdient hat QQ

Ich erinnere mich an die Filmszene, die du anspielst. Da wunderte es mich gehörig, weshalb der Abschied derart kurz und, ja, relativ herzlos ausfiel. Immerhin sei er ihr "bester Freund", wie Alice einmal im Film sagte. Da kommt mir dein Fanart schon logischer vor

Nun ich hab mich was diese Szene am Ende angeht gestern fett selbst gespoilert QQ Und dachte mir nur... WTF NICHT SCHON WIEDER!!!!!!QQ Und doch ist es ausnahmsweise VIEL herzlicher als in Teil ens... Alta ich mein im ersten hätte sie sich nich mal von ihm verabschiedet geschweigenden ihn auch nur im Ansatz irgendwie berührt hätte er sie nicht angesprochen und dafür das es eben ihr bester Freund war bzw sie ja 'alles' dafür tat Tarrant unbedingt zu retten (was sie am Ende nicht getan hatte) aber hey.... -.-

Alice and Tarrant are really meant for each other – their bond is so special. They madly perfectly fit each other!~

They are true friends and soulmates. But also there is something more. Semitransparent, very tender, maybe even not yet fully understandable for them... But I see a wonder between them! And it touches me so much! There is something absolutely wonderful in their souls that lightens up in response when they look at one another~

He just have found his family he couldn't leave them then, she needs to go back to unresolved questions connected with her family... She fears a lot not to see him again, because it doesn't depend on her, she doesn't know when and where and if a new portal can appear. He tries to calm her and himself down saying they will always have each other anyway.
She knows he is extremely important to her, maybe not understanding yet all her feelings. They just constantly don't have time and circumstances to untangle themselves and everything they feel to each other.
Finally Mrs Kingsleigh is a bit mad in a good sense and I belive she is ready to get acquainted with a world that is so closely connected with her daughter's fate. I'm sure Wonderland (as a world) will call Alice back again. Her bond with this world and with the Hatter is extremely strong, it can't break so easily. Just the time should come
