Description

"And this is the heart of SHIELD." Natasha led (y/n) into a huge room where rows of computers and other techy technology was being used by SHIELD workers.

"The control room; Where our finest and brightest minds help us keep track with whats going on."

"So a room full of nerds?" (y/n) asked teasingly as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"Pretty much." Natasha agreed smiling as she caught a glimpse of herself in this new girl's witty and sarcastic personality. "Lets move on." She said walking into the elevator behind them, (y/n) followed. Natasha pressed some buttons once again and the elevator flew up to its destination.

"Be honest, how do you like this place?' (y/n) asked trying to start a conversation.

"Honestly," Natasha started, "It's great. I like what I do it and what I do it for."

(y/n)'s lips drew out a breathy laugh. "I dont beong here. Just a couple days ago I was a criminal in New York! I'm not cut out for any of this heroic government figure."

"(y/n) I don't do my job for SHIELD." Natasha said staring out at the glass wall of the elevator. She turned to (y/n), "You'll fit in just fine."

Before the conversation could continue, they felt a surge of dizzyness flow through their heads as the elevator stopped. They turned to see a man a couple inches taller than both of them. Broad shoulders, golden locks of hair, and huge arms; He was a wonder to look at.

"Clint." Natasha adressed him, "I found you a friend." She said motioning to (y/n).

"(y/n), this is Clint Barton. He works in the field. And it just so happens you both will be working on the same case over in Europe."

"First of all, how do you know my cases, Tasha?" CLint asked utterly confused.

"I do my research. Do yours." She said winking as she stepped out of the elevator to your surprise. She looked down at her watch. "I have this thing with Rogers in a couple of minutes."

"Thing?" (y/n) asked.

"Maybe Clint can take over the tour. You are on break, right?" She said walking away.

"Stop doing research!" Clint yelled before pressing some buttons once again. The metal doors shut finally and (y/n) was stuck in an elevator with probably the only hot guy she'd seen in this whole facility.

"So, what has Tasha showed you so far?" He smiled leaning against the doors.

"Well the lobby, training room, garage, control room, AKA 'heart of SHIELD'." (y/n) listed.

"Or the room full of nerds." He muttered smiling over at (y/n). She could feel her face heat up as he looked onto her.

"Whats your name?" He asked absent mindedly.

"(y-y/n)." She stuttered.

"(y/n)." He repeated. "Allow me to show you the cafeteria, I'm starving!" He said turning around to push some buttons on the elevator.

"Touch'e." (y/n) said leaning onto the glass.

-------------Time Skip--------------

"So what brought you here?" Clint asked eating his burger using one hand and drinking his bottle of water with the other.

"Ehh. Criminal activity." (y/n) responded hesitantly.

"What you do? Rob a hot dog cart?" He teased.

"Try sneaking into government official's office to rob him clean."

"Pfsh! Amauture!" Clint said taking another bite.

"Excuse me!? Have you done better?"

"I've stolen the president's socks for fun once." Clint said reminscing to the time he and the Avenger's were drunk.

"You must've had TOO much time on your hands, Barton!" (y/n) said laughing at him.

"Well, thankfully, I have you now to keep me busy." He said grinning a white smile over at his new partner.

"Don't worry. You won't even know I'm there." (y/n) said bring her hands together.
That wasn't the answer Clint wanted.

"Well look at you guys!" They both jumped at the loud exclamation from Natasha. She stood over the two on the side of the table with her hands on her hips. "Already on a date."

"I would try to argue with you on how this isn't a date but your too stubborn to change your mind."

"Stubborn but right." Nat said walking away once again but not before pushing Clint's head playfully; he laughed.

"Come on, break time's over!" Clint said taking his bottle of water.

"We're we going now?" (y/n) asked getting up with Clint.

"To work, partner!" Clint said pulling (y/n)'s arm to go.

"Okay, 'partner'!" (y/n) said laughing and letting herself trust Clint for the first time ever
