Well nowadays i don't see the point of couples in MK. Both canon or fanmade. But if i have to pick, i would say Liu Kang and Kitana because they were the first known couple and seem to be more realistic couple. I know people will pair Kitana with others like Kung Lao and Rain, which is kinda understandable in a way since Kung Lao was actually in love with Kitana in the MK comic books and Rain is an Edenian like Kitana. But it is when people make her pair with the likes of Sub-Zero and Scorpion in which is very silly because i don't see how she could be in love with Ninjas who are too busy with things like that. I mean Scorpion's mind is fueled by rage and torment to the point where that is his only emotion. Sub-Zero is too busy trying to take leadership of his ninja clan and defending against the forces of evil than focusing on love. That is just a matter of taste but that is my opinion.
