Always wanted to try one of those memes, but I had a hard time finding one that could be done traditionally by printing out the blank meme.Luckily I stumbled upon this one -> notsofluent.deviantart.com/artβ¦
Took a little longer than I expected, but it was fun to work with and I got to try a lot of expressions I probably never would have thought about using
Please comment which expression you like the best (you can mention more than one) and I might just use one of the more frequently mentioned ones for a pic sometime ;3

That's good Rawn. Yeah, those extra shifts can get tiring, but at least it pays 
I've been okay lately. I've been working tons of overtime too. my boss suggested I take some time off because I was feeling burned out, so I'll be back on Thursday 
I also finally watched Princess Kaguya last night. I love the visual aesthetic, it's very beautiful, expressive and fluidly animated. Yet, I find the ending somewhat tragicΒ I really like Menowarawa. She's cute when she guards the door with that naginata

Ugh, that smell is foul, but unfortunately far from the worst thing I've smelled.
Try a guy who has not heard of soap nor changing clothes and lives of beer and cigarettes. Trust me - you'll have a hard time breathingΒ Β

The ending isn't just somewhat tragic it's very tragic. Kaguya was sent to Earth to live, she gets a taste of life, but as soon as she started to grow up she is shut inside a gilded cage where all her choices are made for her and she's not allowed to see her old friends nor do any of the things she used to love, and in the end it kills her before she even gets a real chance at living. I know the moral of the story requires it and a happy ending would have ruined it, but I still hate it when the main character diesΒ Β The Wind Rises was really sad too. Why Ghibli? Why do you have to make me cry with your beautiful last masterpieces?Β Β
Ah, yes I liked that little gal too. She was some good comic relief in an otherwise thoroughly sad movie.

Yes, and in a way I think the bamboo cutter is the real protagonist of the story as it is he who learns the hard lesson that the time he had Kaguya and was truly happy was when they were poor and living in the woods and not rich and living in a palace. Unfortunately for Kaguya, he doesn't realize this until it's too late. I agree, the saddest part is when she forgets everything and the only thing she has left is a song that makes her cry without her even knowing why just like the other moon lady :'c
Ghibli's most depressing yet is still Grave of the Fireflies, but Princess Kaguya can easily claim 2nd place I think.
