Really great capture! It can't have been easy, getting the model and your angle positioned just right to make it look like the crescent is being held up.

Yeah, a sunset takes a long time... unless you are trying to set something like that up, then it happens way to fast! *chuckle* That is the capture of a lifetime though, given how rare a good view of an eclipse is.

This is soooooo fun! Here in Northern CA the eclipse happened at 6:30 so the sun was still up in the sky

Cool shots! We didn't have enough vegetation around to see any of those neat pinhole-effect light shadows that you got.
All I had was a telephoto lens and UV filter on it! I set my aperture to F/32 and varied the shutter speed. I sadly don't have any ND's for this lens yet, I'm worried about what size to get and how to fit them over various lenses as I get more over the years!
