Typical for aliens, synx don't look dissimilar from people, however beneath that fiendish guise their internal workings mirror anatomy found in the oddest array of animals. What you are seeing here is not how they normally eat, but rather a display of impatience. Apparently this creature's stomach couldn't wait for the food to come to it, so it came out looking for the food.
