it's okay, i made two entries and spent more than five hours on one of them ;n;
granted, i still managed to win but not with the one i wanted to -shot-
Maybe you can change the name on your icon and see if there's another group that might want to use it :3

You go to the person, and tell them your position in the contest, post the journal link to the "Icon Contest ~ Winners" and ask for you prize ^^
Then once they give you your prize, please tell me, and I'll put a little green bullet next to it.

now i can submit to the group without having to cover the icon with my finger xDDD (no offence to the original icon maker, but I have sensitive eyes and the flashing/bright colours make my eyes sting////)
