Maybe it is the sharpening you are referring to.
I tried several versions but I like photos to be sharp enough, more than the average. The rest of the manipulation was really mild.

It looked great to me, too, when centralized in the photo, mostly because of that beautiful sky!
For some unkown reason, it looks like it was taken with a wide angle lens, that's what made the sky look as if it's falling on Acropolis....

Well, my E-300 has a crop factor of 2X, so that makes my 14-45 lens a 28-90mm (35mm equivalent), so it's not that wide anymore...
