So, this time I went absolutely insane for 21h and hand-animated 100 0es, 100 1s, 75 2s, 56 3-s, 36 5s and 150 7s; put 9 shadowed, 7 unshadowed + 2 volumetric lights; and 21 wire sprite samles.

Extra philosophy for you:

As for me, heroes of our time are those who are able to overcome cynism in themselves and sacrifice their lives for even a smallest to help humanity go 1 step further. All the young and ambitious students, scientist, artists, leaders who are still able to not only dream about great future, but to forge it themselves.

Let me clear my point a little with example:

Math for me was always the purest form of heroism, because the subject of math is basically nonexistant, meaning it's science for science's sake. A world that we created out of acciomatic statements and intuitive notions, pure abstraction that has nothing to do with reality. So everyone goes: "Why do I have to study trigonometry and calculus in school/college?", "What's the use for imaginary hyper-toroids?", "Complex analysis is useless to me" etc. And, the worst part is, they are right. There are literally thousands of other things to do that are more interesting, entertaining, appliable, profitable and easier. Except someone has to do it. Because, in the long run, that will help humanity to move forward, to understand more about Universe, to explain greater mysteries, to solve super complex problems. But that time is sooo far away from an average person it's almost a fantasy. Why would anyone spend their life on a thing that will pay off only after few centuries? Everyone wants stuff at least during their children's lifetime.

And it's not math necesseraly, a lot of doctors in less developed countries are suffering from horrible life conditions, but countinue their work nevertheless. Well, I hope you've got the idea. Ok, so, those who are able to accept this horrible truth about nonrewardingness of their job, but still continue to work in that direction are true heroes, in my opinion.

Månses "Heroes" has quite a few lines that are very resonant with this theme, although generally it's not true. I couldn't've fit all the subthemes, so I had to choose this one, because it's closer to me. Basically, start listening from youtu.be/-nbq6Ur103Q?t=11
