Anyway, I did actually get some workable pictures tonight. For failing to set the alarm this morning, ~Visitere posed for me this evening.
Unsure if this concept will be used in the final project.

This is incredibly powerful. I love how the subject is dejected and resigned, small and isolated in the space. The lack of water definitely adds to the overall feel of the image, almost as if the subject is imprisoned in the bath, unable to leave.
Your vision is outstanding, originality top marks, and the image certainly makes a big impact. My own critique is in the framing of the composition. The blown out white on the top left hand side is a little distracting, as is the on/off tap cut half. I would have preferred the crop to include more of the facet/tap as I think cropping them out would compromise the integrity of the image.
Overall this is an outstanding photography, and in my opinion definitely up there with the best of horror photography on DA. [And no I am not just saying that. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w… " width="15" height="15" alt="

Hehe that's an interesting thing to think of while viewing this - I didn't take it with violence in mind (regardless of the blood), but that's the beauty of interpretation. I love hearing what others think of my work, what it makes them see, this is no exception.

Lucky for him, the furnace in my house is wonky. It's either too warm or too cold (subzero I should say).
That night, it was very warm.
I'm glad you like it! I did too. It felt really closed in to me, very sterile but without the harsh white of a hospital or clinic, more of a yellow/orange undertone...

well, i guess you were quite lucky it was warm. i use halogens for some of my shoots, which means the room i'm working in is baking hot because of it >.<
