For Auron, on a different gallery. Me and her were discussing Xiggy via comments, and she mentioned how he was scrawny, yet had a chest that could crack a nut...And this was the immediate mental image I got from such an amusing description XD
It took me a while to get done though, mostly because of that faceplant pose. I so could not get it right, then I finally gave it another shot tonight and made it half decent. God damn foreshortening XD
In the end I'm pleased with how it came out XD

(This story is totally on topic, I swear. Just give me a minute.)
So, years ago, I was trying to find out the origin of the in-joke for these "Captain Fuckin' Xaldin" icons that were floating around of LJ. Managed to find it [link] and it turned out to be a sporking of a fanfic. It was pretty funny.
But there was this one line in the original fic where Xigbar is in a bad mood, so he "went to his desk and slammed himself down into it."
Except the first time I saw that, I misread it as slamming himself onto the desk. And my brain showed me panel three of this comic.
And now I think of this every time I go back and reread it.
So thank you for the laugh.
