Description So this was my Marco cosplay for the Friday of otakon!
I made the jacket myself and had a lot of fun in this cosplay, despite the fact that my belts kept sliding down....

Feedback, as always would be lovely~

I know you said you made the jacket yourself, but did you use an existing pattern? Or did you also make that on your own? I've been on the search for one, but (as being a slightly quite busty girl) it's not an easy task. I'm just trying to get a better idea of what others have done for making their own.

I was in a time crunch, so I used a pre-existing jacket from goodwill that was almost white, but a good material for what I wanted to use it for
then I dyed it, hemmed and tailored it, and painted the emblems on the back, sleeves, and front pocket
as for bust, I feel you, but seeing as canonly the jackets are almost always open, that leaves room for slight sizing difference, and if you intend to crossplay like I did, it really is up to the shirt size and binding, I am a 34DD and without the binding the jacket kinda amplifies that, but while binding it was no issue, so you could even get a jacket close to your normal size (this is the first one i didn't get a massively oversized jacket, but one in my own size so it was more fitted through the shoulders) and goodwill-hunting can save you the agony of those patterns that are just a smiiiidge off your measurements.

Pattern sewing is annoying in my own opinion, becasue not all of them are well-written and they can get downright frustrating, plus the fabric is much more expensive than it is to go to thrift a $5 jacket and do all the alterations.
