Ain't she purdy?My female baby African Rock Python finished shedding right before I took her latest pics, and her golds and iridescence are really showing up nicely now.
I have a pair of these, which I got off Craigslist. They are as sweet as any Boas, and even softer to touch. They don't even have the "psycho" feeding responses that most pythons have, although they DO love to eat! This is the third largest python species in the world, behind the Reticulated and Burmese Pythons. They have an awful reputation for being nasty-tempered, but I have yet to see one in captivity that was actually aggressive. I had an adult male years ago who never so much as hissed, and these are the same way that I have now.
If you look closely and use your imagination a bit, some of her markings look like letters!

That... can't be possible. You must be lying. 
I see a few Ps, and 'DiVa'. I love looking at patterns on my snakes for messages and symbols; my friend's pastel Ball Python has a few hearts on her, and my own Ball Python has a splotch that looks like a man.

Oh, yeah...she is definitely "diva" material, lol! She doesn't even like for me to watch her eat, so I have to leave the room when I feed her or she won't do anything except stare at me as if to say, "do you MIND?"
