So yeah, I jumped on the band wagon. It was very hard since I had so many things that influence me. I just went with the ones that were easy to find pictures of. This is far from a true map of influence but this would definitely be a summarized version. I don't attached value to the size. You can get it from3x3 1. Tomape

4. Pistol Opera- The definitive mind screwy ambitious female assassin that might secretly be a lesbian but loves her guns more and would kick the Bride's backside from Japan back to the US. And did I mention that it was done by the master of Japanese Gangster films, Seijun Suzuki when he was in his seventies. Everything about this film makes me want to write and draw things. It's why it edged out Wong-Kar Wai on this list.

Because you know. It has a female lead, bizarre plot and set design and people in the West didn't think it would sell or something. I think you should see it. It is very lovely and it really doesn't follow the conventions of a typical assassin movie.
I love Silent Hill. But I have to say the only time I had to change pants was in Silent Hill 4 when the ghosts first start showing up in Townshed's apartment. And the heavy breather guy in Silent Hill 3. That guy is creepy and annoying.

Oh yes. If it isn't some big burly idiot who is the assassin then it better be a hot chick that wants the almighty phallus. Why else does she use a gun? 
Scary games are awesome. Particularly when it's done right. The only time I had to stop playing a scary game was when I played Resident Evil 3 and saw all those zombies that wanted to kill me. I just paused the game and had nightmares. I did play Silent Hill 4 in the dark. Can you say Nightmare Fuel?

But it's true. All the DudeBros say so. I can just imagine. That is just one movie that doesn't need to be remade. I experienced the same feeling when the Departed came out. I mean seriously that movie was based off of the awesome Infernal Affairs Hong Kong movie series. Did they mention this once? No. And to rub salt into the wound, they even had a racist guy in there that went into a rant on screen about Asians.
Like a baby. Though seriously I got through it by remembering all of the hilarious OOC fics about Henry and Walter on the Internets.

Yes, it is such a great movie. My favorite part had to be when the characters were sitting and talking about their dreams before the main fight. It was a great scene.
