Why does he even apologize? He had to run for his life, she was literally killing him. How the hell is he the one to blame?

perhaps a perspective thing? like the melting stuff was an exaggeration?
or maybe she's saying no because if they go back things will be bad again?

I think she might still love him, but he needs to fix his own problems first cause of this is scene at a moral standpoint connected to Greek mythology he saw the sun thought it was beautiful got to close his wings fell off (the break up) and then he fell into the sea (depression), this is like if he lived after that

I don't know, I guess you're right about her still being in love
But in my opinion that love is tainted
it's not the same
It's still there, but there's just so many things blocking her feelings that after so pain and hurt
There's too much to just forgive and forget about

I can't totally blame him for breaking up with her, but I definitely cannot say she's doing wrong by just saying "No." She din't get a proper explanation as to why he was leaving her, only we did through his mind and eyes he saw himself and the relationship he was in. She thought that there were things they needed to talk about, but he wasn't ready yet so she din't push him, she waited until he himself would be ready to talk. But mostly din't think there was much bad in their relationship.
When he said they needed to talk she was happy because she thought he was going to tell her why he wasn't feeling well, and what was/is bothering him. But he was most likely too afraid or even had less trust in telling her the full reason why he was leaving her. She felt heartbroken, told him he wasn't leaving her, threatened (or maybe at least that's what it looks like in the Anger part) than felt upset with herself at the frightened sight he gave her, tried to apologize and convince him to stay but he left anyway.
I'll admit that their relationship thing (somehow I know they'll most likely end up together.) needs a lot of things that needs to be fixed in it, for example:
Trust - That is very important in EVERY relationship, what point is in that kind where you don't trust yourselves each other enough to say what bothers you, saddens you or frightens you both? Like in this one, trust clearly is lacking and that was the first point to their break up.
Differences between each other - everyone and everything is different, and we can't wait nor expect that someone will change just to make us happy now I'm not referring how they were both acting both him and her, I'm talking about their physical and emotional differences. She is the warm and hot sun that melted his heart but also can melt him to thin jelly. Yet he accepts her the way she is and loves her none the less. She is the happy, cute and heartwarming girlfriend most people have. And tries to understand people mostly those she loves, but also has her secrets she clearly hasn't revealed. Like the bad messenger, who was her former lover? And why did she leave him? Icarus is the shy and quiet type that likes to keep to himself. Has lot of bad mental disorders and bad personalities that he tends to hide from people even from her. He is a statue that can easily melt under her, and that was most likely bothering him. She loved/loves him the him without these problems. Maybe what he said that "She loved the other him." is like meaning she loves the fake version he created himself. And this brings us to another thing that needs to be fixed!
Tolerance: Is pretty much the same as the first part but slightly different. Some people don't easily get rid of their mental disorders, some have them for life! (Like me for example) but that's not the point. Icarus most likely won't be able to get rid of his disorders very quickly and fast as he hopes, but let's not forget the reason eh broke up with her. He left her in a bad way and elected a second chance pretty quickly which was pretty dumb, but i still have to tolerate the way he is. Not saying it's good but the person with the same problem like him can deal with these things with some help. And that also comes with tolerance but that's something that will maybe be shown in next chapters.
Secrecey: Everyone has their secrets and we can't except everything will be told us, but these two kept things from each other that din't need to be or better to say shouldn't be kept. Icarus should and try to explain to Sun the full and real reason he left her and apologized the way he broke up with her (or that he even broke up with her I don't know.) but she should also tell him a few things about herself to him as well, and tell him a few of her secrets that she sees fit to be told.

This reflects my last relationship quite accurately... He was going through a tough time and kept quiet about it, but at the same time took it out on me, at one point even broke up with me just to come back a few weeks later claiming it was "just to protect me from him". But he hadn't changed much, even if he claimed he did. He would still project everything he disliked about himself onto me and critizise me for every little flaw he saw in me (or rather himself). After he went on a trip with some friends and was away for a whole month, I eventually noticed how I felt much better without him and his constant critique. I broke up with him when he came back, even tho he said that he had changed compleatly, but I really doubted that.
I think that certain things just can't be repaired in a relationship, now matter how much you try to work on them. You can never measure how another person feels and you should never expect them to respond in the way you want them to. Some romantic clichΓ©s are just plain bullshit and I have to agree with Sun on this one! Just because someone admits to their flaws and says they are sorry, doesn't mean they won't hurt you again.

I can really relate to her decisions, you shouldnβt ever take back anyone who hurt you, if they did it once who says they wonβt do it again??

My main problem with Icarus Is that Sun warned him that dating her would be a mistake, she told him that she would hurt him. Did she hurt him? Yes. Is that Ok? No. But I don't think that hurt was intentional (During the break up tho that was 100% on purpose). So she finally feels like she can be with someone who she loves and loves her back. And that person breaks up with her. The one guy she thought was different is the same as everybody else. Then he has the nerve to ask for her back? Wth???I don't think it could get any more selfish than that.

Added to that is the fact that he doesn't really acknowledge the pain their breakup caused her. It comes across like all he can see is himself in their relationship, like he's only sorry because he didn't like the results of his choice, not because of what he did to her.
