I found this today. It's 2 days shy of being 3 years old; an abandoned concept, for now, at least.

Once Dr. Corby had discovered that Dr. Brown had secretly modified the new android, Corby changed Andrea's programming to avoid Brown. But he neglected to update her libido setting, and Corby, even as an android, could not satisfy that libido.

It took several weeks, but Andrea convinced Ruk to use the machine to change her form to that of a female of The Old Ones, Ruk's progenitors. She hoped that ancient urges deep within Ruk could be awakened.

Or something like that.
