I haven't uploaded any bare sketches in awhile because I'm weird and feel like now that I've started uploading more finished works, uploading sketches makes me look bad.BUT THIS IS SILLY.
So here's a sketch to prove that I have NOT abandoned other art-- here's Laura and James, who I need to start uploading sketches of again. I HAVE plenty of sketches... they're just not finished. 8(
Anyway.

-sniff- How do you make your sketches look so clean? I mean after you scan them. What I do is adjust the Brightness and Contrast, but it makes the pencil strokes loo harsh and gritty. Not to mention the whole lot of it is just darker and not white. What's your method when scanning pictures?

Well, that's mostly what I do for the most part-- although I never up the brightness/contrast too much. I also sometimes use the magic wand tool and the eraser to clean up the area around the sketch if there's too much smudging.
